AUTHOR: LELIA MOSKOWITZ
As a baby, Lelia was on the front page of the Los Angeles Evening Herald Express newspaper, photographed in her mother's arms as bulldozers loomed and police threw homeowners out of Chavez Ravine to make way for Dodger Stadium.
Raised by beatniks, artists and hippies,
she has always written about the
counter-culture around her.
Humboldt County has been her
home for two decades.
Growland is her first novel.
